About

Gary’s goal is to help you get closer to a tax-free retirement using advanced financial processes. Most families unknowingly and unnecessarily transfer wealth out of their wallet. Our financial process approach substantially increases your wealth as opposed to simply chasing after stock returns.

There are 100’s of financial processes with one example being converting your IRA to a Roth IRA using advanced processes that make this a tax-free conversion. Another financial process example is a retiree withdrawing money from their accounts. Most retirees have a Roth, an IRA, bonds, a taxable account, etc., and those accounts all have different rates of return, risk levels, and tax treatments. Withdrawing money in the wrong sequence can cost you tens of thousands or millions of dollars over your lifetime. Our financial process shows you your optimal withdrawal strategy that maximizes your retirement estate value.

Other process includes the process of funding your retirement plans, paying your mortgage, or purchasing cars, etc. We are not referring to a better product (the mortgage, the stocks, etc.,) but are referring to better financial processes that can have a significant impact on your overall wealth.

Gary started his career in Silicon Valley, starting at Hewlett-Packard and then founding multiple companies, some that became listed on the NASDAQ or were acquired by larger public companies.

While in college, Gary worked as an engineer designing the AH-64 Apache helicopter for the U.S. Army. After college Gary was recruited by the Central Intelligence Agency, but even though it is a noble path he decided to move to Silicon Valley where he said he was less likely to get shot.

Gary graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science while playing in the scrum of the four- year undefeated Southern California divisional championship Loyola Rugby team.  He earned an M.B.A. from St. Mary’s College and was a Stanford University Masters candidate in Electrical Engineering before leaving early for his first start-up.

Gary is an Investment Advisory Representative. Gary also earned his California insurance license # 0G63835.

Gary lives in San Francisco, CA., and lists Biblical research, chess, 1959 Corvette restoration, volunteering through the Kiwanis organization, and an inordinate amount of dog walking as a few of his favorite activities. Gary’s self-confessed claims to fame are he once played two-on-two beach volleyball with Karch Kiraly, played the drums at The Fillmore, and once had his econ paper critiqued by Milton Friedman. All those events made his day!
