Mr. Van Woerkom has been with Retirement Wealth Advisors since 2007 after spending 6 years as school teacher.  Joel works directly with individual investors in retirement planning and investment management.  He is a regular contributor to the firm’s blog and podcasts, and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.

Joel works primarily from our Jenison and Spring Lake offices, and he lives with his wife and three kids in Hudsonville, Michigan.  He earned his undergraduate degree at Calvin College and his MBA from Western Michigan University, and is currently studying for the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation.
